Does Fins & Feathers rescue or rehabilitate wild birds?
Short answer, no. We are only able to provide care for pet birds at this time, excluding finches, canaries, and other softbill birds. We will have a wild bird rescue recommendation prepared shortly. Call ahead if you have any concerns about receiving care for your bird.
Is Fins & Feathers PACFA Licensed and what does that mean?
YES! We are PACFA licensed. This means our standard of care is closely monitored and regulated to ensure the healthiest environment possible for our finned and feathered friends. We HIGHLY recommend verifying PACFA licensure before working with anyone in the animal care field to maintain the health and wellness of your pet.
Can you reserve an animal for me to adopt?
Certainly, we are able to reserve an animal for a qualified and interested individual; however, this reservation can only be secured upon payment of the adoption fee in advance.
We can hold the animal for a period of up to 14 days without any additional boarding fees. Please note that if you choose to release the reservation, all fees paid are non-refundable.
